Sometime in the last year or so, the Bitwarden mobile app gathered the Notes field and custom fields under “Additional Options”, which starts out collapsed by default when editing a login item.
Ok, keep things clean by default.
But when the Notes field is filled in, or a custom field exists, Bitwarden shouldn’t hide that from me (principle of least surprise). Bitwarden already knows enough to display the Notes field or custom fields when they’re filled in when I’m not editing. It should also not hide them when I am editing if they’re filled in, by expanding Additional Options.
I use both Notes and custom fields extensively, and it’s a pain to have to tap and scroll every time just to edit a field that was already shown just a moment ago before I tapped the edit button.
