How to sync browser extension with web tresor

Recently, I’ve had some issues with the browser extension in Chrome. It took quite some time until the extension was fully operational. I wanted to login to my account, but was very surprised that I actually didn’t have an account. I wasn’t aware that this is even possible. I created an account and imported the data from the extension. So far so good.

This might sound like a super dumb question, but how would I sync the data? Would I have to import new entries manually? I’ve always thought that the extension was just a kind of interface for the data in the main account.

The vault data is stored in the cloud and are synced automatically, most of the time, between the clients (web, browser, android, ios, etc.)

There are two clouds that aren’t interchangeable. You should be certain if you have created an account on either bitwarden.com, or bitwarden.eu, or both. Use only one; you should delete the other one if applicable. The cloud selection is below the login email field on the login pages.

Yikes, I didn’t know that. I was probably automatically redirected to the EU site. I actually DO have an account on the COM domain. Thanks for the clarification. Will delete the newly created account.
