How long does it take for shared items to appear for other users?

When I add a new item to a shared collection, will that item ever show up for other users who are currently logged in to their vault in a browser? Or will it only show up if they log out and log back in?

What about users using the Bitwarden extension? If I need to to share a password with a colleague, after I create the item, how long will it be before they can see it? Is there a way to force a sync?

These are both issues that have proved frustrating with other password managers.

I see that the extension has a “Sync Now” option. Is there something similar when logged in via the browser?

Hey there! This is typically seamless without need for manual sync, but browser does have manual sync option in settings menu.

If you are experiencing sync issues, you might want to check your network/VPN settings.
