To change your master password, you must log in to the Web Vault, and navigate to Settings > Security > Master Password.
However, to log in to the Web Vault, you must either know your master password, or have logged-in mobile app or desktop app and use Login with Device, or have previously configured a passkey for Login with Passkey (with encryption enabled).
If you do not have any of these methods available to log in to the Web Vault, then you will not be able to “reset” or “restore” your master password (unless your Bitwarden account is a member of an Enterprise Plan that has enabled the Account Recovery feature). Your only option will be to start over by registering for a new Bitwarden account. If you have any device that is still logged in to your current Bitwarden vault, you can create a vault export and then import the exported data into your new Bitwarden account.
