Since today I have a problem in edge with extremely high cpu usage and hangs when the Bitwarden extension 2023.9.0 is installed. When I install the 2023.8.3 for chrome in edge I do not have that problem.
Anyone else that has the same problem. This is the second time in a relatively short period I am having problems with the Bitwarden extension for edge. Last time was in version 2023.6.
Update - 14:04: Just tested on my girlfriends Asus Zenbook. Same issue there.
Can confirm this. Only some sites affected. 100% repro on www.seznam.cz. In 1-5 minutes, the browser will crash or spit out out of memory error. Made a github ticket about this.
Maybe these guys should setup a descent beta program. This is the second time in a short period that productions users get a problem with this extension.

Just installed and tested 2023.9.1 and it looks like the problem is fixed.
However I consider it a great problem that problems like this slip through the testing and make it into the production version. In a descent Beta testing program this would have certainly been found.
