Folder nesting, not labeling

Feature name

  • Sane folder behaviour

Feature function

  • What will this feature do differently?
Currently folders do not nest correctly. If imported from 3rd party software the nesting structure will be replicated but if root folders are renamed then all subfolders get placed into the root directory.
If a folder is deleted, the items within it are not deleted, they are moved to the root directory. This is the same effect as a ‘label’ in other software, rather than a folder.
  • What benefits will this feature bring?
Users can manage larger collections of items more easily. Moving and re-organising becomes possible, rather than very intensive exercise and laborious work. Increased compatibility importing from other platforms.
