Firefox Account/Sync autofill does not work

Hello there,

does anyone have bitwarden stored Firefox Account (https://accounts.firefox.com/) credentials? If yes, please try to activate Firefox-Account (in Firefox) and try to use bitwarden browser addon to autofill the credentials to login screen.

For me it doesn’t work.

I’ve looked into the HTML page and added custom fields in bitwarden item (Custom Fields | Bitwarden Help Center). Here: text: email=myemailadress
But custom fields doesn’t work here.

Firefox 68.0.1 (on OS X and Windows)
bitwarden Firefox browser plugin 1.41.0

Did you try Firefox 68.0.2 already?
I’m using Firefox 68.0.2 and 1.41.0 Plugin but don’t use a Firefox Account. :confused:

Firefox 69.0 (64 Bit) Windows has still this problem.

Firefox 70.0.1 (64 Bit) on Windows with Addon 1.41.0 still cannot login on accounts.firefox.com

I took a look at the Firefox source code, and it looks like Mozilla has implemented an internal list of hosts on which Web Extensions (like BitWarden) will not operate.

In Firefox, you can try going to about:config and removing that host from extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains

Let us know if that fixes this issue for you.

You’re completely right!

Removing accounts.firefox.com from extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains solves this problem.

Someone should tell developer of FF Addon to put a hint on this site, if someone’s trying to use BW on this address.
