I’m trying to import my 1password vault to Bitwarden, but I’m getting a generic error, Failed to parse key. I’m using the latest 1Password and Bitwarden on Mac. Appreciate any help as I’m trying to move away from 1password.
From 1password, I exported it to .1pux format. I recalled I’ve this before few months ago, and there was no issue.
I encountered this today, but do not have to option of the workaround using CXP (though I look forward to this being available).
I’m confident that the problem is not with having an ssh key in the 1PUX, as I have successfully imported many times with one until today. I commented on the Github issue.
I tried the CXP route, and it doesn’t seem to do anything. am i doing something wrong? i have an iphone 17 pro max on ios 26.5.1, 1password mobile app version 8.12.22, and bitwarden mobile app version 2026.5.0. i use bitwarden with a self-hosted instance (but i also have a bitwarden.com account), premium licensed (both; license imported on self-hosted instance). i received the same key parse error on import in the web app with my 1password 1pux file. i see the messages about not trying to import ssh keys, but i have 50+ keys in my 1pw vault and i wish to carry them over as well. when i tried the CXP route, i select export within 1password, 1pw has me identify myself and confirm i want to export (by typing out my account name) and i select bitwarden as the target but then it sits there and does nothing. eventually if i just ‘X’ out, it claims error to start export or what have you.
