I really like the “unlock arc/chrome vault using biometrics” feature of the mac desktop app. However, this function sometimes works normally but sometimes fails. The symptom is “the touch ID confirmation window does not pop up.” Is this a bug? Thanks

I do not have a definitive answer (great help!). I need to unlock with master password rather than biometrics sometimes, not after restart, but I have not tracked whether that is related to whether I am attached to the studio display, when the Mac is positioned so I cannot access the fingerprint scanner. I will follow more closely and report back in a couple of days if I have a pattern,
