There were problems with biometrics / Windows Hello… some are still not completely resolved – see e.g. this post (and complete thread): Unable to unlock browser extensions with Hello+face biometrics - #44 by Nail1684
But the problem you experience shouldn’t be an issue at the moment, I think.
