Error message after closing windows app

Hello Community,

everytime I close the bitwarden app under windows, I get the attached error message.
I tried the version from the website and the windows store version.

Windows 11 Pro, Version 25H2
Newest bitwarden version 2026.3.1

Hi there, it looks like you’re using a third-party back-end, I would recommend reaching out in their community spaces.

The issue is with the Bitwarden app on Windows, not with the third-party backend. That’s why I’m looking for an answer here.
For anyone else with the same problem: if you run the Bitwarden app as an administrator by default, the error message no longer appears.
