Encryption key support for Confer.to / supporting PRF Encryption with Passkey storage

I believe you are referring to confer.to’s passkey for encryption (PRF).

I am not a Bitwarden employee. AFAIK, the storage of Passkey with encryption (PRF) is not on Bitwarden’s roadmap, and it’s not being worked on as part of the open pull requests. There is a feature request that you can vote for:

Talking about the implementation of Passkeys where the Bitwarden Extension/App acts as the A in CTAP. (Authenticator) PRF support → For one of my accounts, I have Bitwarden master password in Bitwarden. I was planning on adding my Bitwarden as a “Login with Passkeys” for Bitwarden, but noticed Bitwarden didn’t support encryption for login with passkeys. I would love to see support.

ps:

1. I also note that there is a discussion about this topic in the subreddit as well.
2. I tested this on Edge on Windows and Bitwarden v2025.12.0, and it doesn’t work, although I didn’t set Bitwarden as Windows Passkey provider. The subreddit mod is claiming it works on his iOS and Brave.
