Ease of Loading Vault Items

1. I have no confidence if anyone will read this or that I will ever know.

2. I have no desire to get a PhD in Bitwarden Community Forums.

3. I am a masochist so I have persisted in trying to provide feedback for the password manager.

4. Loading a vault item can be improved by not requiring a separate step to load the target. For example, following the search, allow immediate clicking on to item banner the left displayed details. Since most requests likely want to open the target please ease that process.

5. Provide for easy feedback directly from the application as customer input is the best source of improvement.

That’s fine, but I will assume that by selecting the tag “app:desktop”, you are in fact intending to propose a feature for the Bitwarden Desktop app.

Now you’ve lost me. When you search in the Desktop app, the search results are shown in the middle pane (to the right of the vault filters, which is the left-most pane). If you make a single left-click on any of the search results, the item details are immediately displayed in the right-most pane of the Desktop UI.

I’m not sure how this process could be made any easier.

This would need its own separate feature request. Each feature request topic should propose only a single new feature.

Could you elaborate on what exactly you are asking here?

If I search in the desktop app, I don’t see any banner – and can click directly on an item in the search results:
