In our environment, the application is installed on a subdomain, it would be great to be able to verify and use that subdomain.
For example: bitwarden.foo.bar.mycompany.com
What do you mean by “verify and use”?
And since you tagged your post self-hosting, does the “application” that you are referring to mean the server or a client?

Correct, so my user accounts are something like [email protected], however the only DNS I can verify is *.bar.company.com.
