Is there an option to disable an item or an entire folder of items from the clients or reports.
For example, I have some old logins that I don’t use anymore but may in the future. I’d like for them not to appear in the mobile or browser client or on reports. Is there a way to disable an item or folder in this way?
What do you mean by “not appear”? You mean for auto-fill? - I think the easiest way for that would be to set the “matching settings” for the URIs (in the desired vault items) to “never”.
Whether it is included in reports then still, I don’t know. But I would think, that it should still be included in reports, because you would still want to know if there is a breach, wouldn’t you?
Create an Organization, and create a Collection called “Hidden”, then transfer the old logins to that Collection.
Next, go to Settings > Organization Info (in the Admin Console section of the Web Vault), enable the option “Owners and admins can manage all collection and items”, and then click Save:
After you have done this, edit the properties of the “Hidden” Collection, and on the tab labeled “Access” (see screenshot), use the to remove your username from the list of users who have access to the “Hidden” Collection.
