I’ve seen BitWarden incorrectly identify fields as being fillable before on other sites and it’s annoying but I usually just ignore it since the only two topics I found mentioning it have really convoluted and extremely specific solutions. However, today I joined a friend in a chat room on cytu.be and BitWarden detected THE CHAT FIELD as a login field. While i was clicking around in the vault trying to fix this, i accidentally missed the “view” button and instead clicked on the whole entry and it immediately filled in my password in plaintext. In addition, the pop up and BitWarden logo appearing in the chat is SUPER annoying and flashes in and out. This should be something that’s as easy as right clicking on the field and clicking “ignore” but I can’t get BitWarden to leave the chat field alone at all!
Your best bet right now is to go to Settings > Autofill and change the selection of “Show autofill menu on form fields” to “Off” (or, if you must use inline pop-up menus, at least set the option to “When autofill icon is selected”).
In addition, you can set the URI value (and URI match detection) so that your login credentials for the cytu.be site can only be autofilled when you’re actually on the login screen.
