Desktop app - when unlock forgets what folder it is in

When using the desktop application (on Windows), I have started to set a lock timeout of 5 minutes which seems to be preferred practice. However, if I have a login item selected within a folder before lock, when I unlock the desktop app, it reverts to showing me all the vault, and not where I was. This means that I need to go and select the item again in my folder.

I cannot see that there is an option to enable/disable this feature.

This is yet another annoying feature like the Cannot automatically select the folder the user was in when they select new login item.

I could not see a GH Issue, or anything listed here. Mind you not really sure what to look under.
Anyone else have this problem?

Hello,

This has been the behavior of Bitwarden clients for as long as I’ve been using them, not retaining certain states, including search results and entry selection across app locks. I don’t see a similar feature request of this nature either (beyond keeping the extension client states across the extension’s pulldown closure). You might want to consider submitting a feature request.

This one has been reported to and acknowledged by Bitwarden on Github:

Thanks for this. I have made a feature request: When unlock bitwarden, don't return to the default 'just logged in view'
