I might have overlooked this question during my forum search, so I apologize in advance.
When you click the Bitwarden icon in the browser, you will see four filtering options: Collections and Folder are two of them.
Is there a way to maintain the filter (or set a default filter) each time the web extension opens?
Currently, we need to rename the entry to “Retired - %OriginalNameOfEntry%” to differentiate between the current and retired entries.
This will be helpful because my department has accumulated many “old” entries that we do not use but are not “old” enough to delete permanently after 30 days. The ability to move them into a different folder or collection and set a permanent filter will remove the visibility of these “old” entries.
Unfortunately there is no way to do that. I wasted a lot of time trying to make them understand why persistent folders are useful, so you’re probably out of luck. Sorry.
It is currently possible on the pre-redesign version of the extension, 2024.11.2.
