Danger of leaving your bitwarden extension unlocked

In another thread, there was a comment about the danger of leaving your extension unlocked. Is the danger mainly because the vault is unlocked so that if someone has access to the windows environment, they would be able to access the vault? However, if you setup the vault to have a timeout, there would be a brief window where this can also occur even if you don not leave the vault unlocked all the time?

Correct. The difference is only the amount of potential exposure of the unlocked vault, which correlates to the degree of risk of someone else accessing it.
