CXF / CXP export: Don't 'split' vault items during export

If I use CXF to export from BitWarden to other apps it doesn’t allow selecting what to export, and the bigger problem is it takes 2FA out of the logins and adds them separately.

This works fine between apps like iOS passwords manager and DashLane. If I export the entire vault from BitWarden (the only option) it takes the 2FA from logins and puts them separately in the app where they are imported. However, it works just fine and keeps the 2FA under the correct logins when transferred between the other apps.

This ends up creating duplicates in the target app because it has separate items for password and 2FA when coming from BitWarden.

I can’t promise you anything as another user, but it might be worth trying to report that as a bug – since you are on iOS: GitHub.

@Amay If [PM-38004] CXF/CXP import: consider duplicates · Issue #2696 · bitwarden/ios · GitHub was meant to be a bug report about this request of yours here, honestly, I do think it doesn’t describe the issue very well.

You didn’t really describe that existing vault items get split during export – instead you made it (IMO) sound more like a feature request about de-duplicate duplicate items. Feature requests – or reports that very much sound like that - are getting closed very quickly on GitHub.
