For quite some time I’ve been getting the same error every time I try and log into my Google account in Chrome. When I try and use the passkey I get the following error:
I have the desktop app loaded and logged in, and "unlock with biometrics " enabled.
I get zero problems when doing the exact same thing in Edge. It asks to confirm the passkey, then Win10 PIN window pops up, I complete my PIN, and it logs me into Google, just as it should do.
It’s been happening for a while now, couple of months at least. Briowser and Win10 etc all up to date.
Yikes, that was easy. Thanks! Can’t believe I’ve lived with the problem with so long. I just assumed it would automatically be fixed in due course, and the extension would update itself. Guess I was wrong.
You are not really wrong here. The update is still very fresh - I think it was “approved” by the Chrome webstore yesterday?! So sooner or later the update would have gotten to you automatically, I guess…
