My 86 year old mother is visually impaired. As such she uses Bitwarden as her locus for all her other logins and passwords.
She has no access to email on her phone, as it’s too small to read. So forcing her to use 2-factor, to get into the web app she uses to manage everything is not going to work. She uses mainly “muscle memory” to type her master password.
Support has stated that there will be some sort of “opt-out” but she is currently getting some sort of notice/popup that tells her to setup 2-factor.
I’m requesting a new settings checkbox, that will disable the prompting for 2-factor signup, and will let her stay the way she has it.
