Recently noticed Bitwarden has not been autofilling the log-in details in my Chase mobile app, so I would appreciate any help. I started experiencing this a few weeks ago, but with intermittent success if I restarted the Chase app. But over the past week or two, Bitwarden is 100% not autofilling in the Chase app – my other apps don’t seem affected, whether banking or otherwise.

Android 12, Bitwarden 2026.4.1, Chase 4.742
I’ve tried reinstalling Bitwarden and the Chase app, without luck. Generally, I have no issues with autofill on desktop or mobile browser (extensions in Chrome and Firefox), it’s isolated to the mobile app. I’ve tested three different Chase log-in accounts/profiles. I have tried with Chase fingerprint/biometric login both enabled and disabled.
In Bitwarden, I’ve tried with both Inline and Popup options, also with and without Accessibility. Block autofill list is empty.
I don’t know what the problem is, but I tested version 2026.4.0 on Android 13. Neither autofill method (inline or popup) worked, but the accessibility autofill button took me to the search page; when I clicked the matching Chase entry, it autofilled the form (the form right after installing the app).
Unless someone has a better solution, the only long-term option seems to be submitting a mobile autofill bug and hoping Bitwarden will fix it. (it is a big US bank, you’d think…)
Thanks for sharing this, I’m glad you were able to reproduce the issue.
I played around with my Accessibility options and the Bitwarden “Autofill” does now appear Inline above the keyboard.
I noticed I had enabled the Accessibility Service in Android for Bitwarden, but the Accessibility Menu Shortcut wasn’t enabled. Once that shortcut is set to On, the “Autofill” feature does now appear in my Chase app. It only seems to fill the password field, not the username, but that’s still a substantial improvement!
Hopefully this will be of help to other folks experiencing this.
Thanks for sharing the link – I’ve filled out the reporting Google Form, so hopefully the developers will be able to devise a fix. I see others on Reddit have mentioned submitting a request, so hopefully this is already on their radar. Ideally, would like to see Bitwarden working like before, as either Inline/Popup…
I didn’t have the shortcut enabled either, so here’s another path you could try. When you pull down the Android Quick Settings panel, you’ll see a bunch of tiles. If you customize it, you should find a Bitwarden Autofill tile. Add that to the quick panel; when you’re on the login page, pull down the panel and tap the autofill tile — it might fill the username as well (it did for me).
I can confirm this. Just tried to login to Chase, first time in a while, so it wanted me to reconfirm. No autofill at all, had to C&P. Pixel 9 Pro, latest Android.
I added the Quick Setting BW tile after I logged in, will try it next time.
Thanks, all! Really appreciate hearing others experiencing the same with the Chase app.
Unfortunately, it looks like my LG device’s Android iteration doesn’t allow adding app shortcuts to the Quick Settings panel. I only have the native set of shortcuts like Wifi, NFC, Bluetooth, etc. I Google’d around and my panel has a bit different UI/configuration from that of the stock Android.
I tried a few third party “shortcut” apps that supplement the quick panel, but the shortcut to Bitwarden just launches Bitwarden itself, rather than the Bitwarden Autofill tile – it sounds like the quick panel tile provides autofill functionality, rather than just starting the Bitwarden app itself (i.e. the “My vault” screen)
Sorry to hear you don’t have the option to customize your quick settings panel more. For reference, my quick settings panel has three Bitwarden tiles; only one is used for autofill.
