Can't login to the CLI

i installed the CLI (from the official arch linux repositories) so i could use the rofi wrapper. however, going through the interactive login process doesn’t work. it lets me enter my email and password, then sits there for a bit before timing out.

Unable to fetch ServerConfig: request to https://api.bitwarden.com/config failed, reason: connect ETIMEDOUT 2606:4700:4400::6812:28cc:443
request to https://identity.bitwarden.com/accounts/prelogin failed, reason: connect ETIMEDOUT 2606:4700:4400::6812:28cc:443

i tried changing my password, even though it doesn’t have any special characters or anything. i also as a test tried rbw (also from the arch repos), and that one gives me a pinentry prompt, which always tells me the password is wrong even though i can make it visible and see that it’s right. i can login to any GUIs perfectly fine, no issues.

i’ve tried searching around, and there are a lot of posts and stuff from people having trouble with 2FA (which is off atm) and/or some sort of a “captcha” system? none with this sort of error or anything and no real indication of what’s wrong on my end.

its just working now, so maybe it was just something wrong with the api
