i felt that my master password wasn’t strong enough, so i decided to change it.

so i’ve changed that today.
after the change, i can log in to my bitwarden account on the bitwarden site without any problems, but i can’t log in and unlock my bitwarden addon.
it says there’s a problem, wrong password (or something similar).
i’ve tried it a few times now.
also tried restarting my pc, but that didn’t help.
now it says: “your vault is locked. verify your identity to continue”.
maybe this is a bitwarden security thing, cause i’ve tried to log in too many times?
i’m not sure how to solve this?
please help asap.
ps. i’m using the vivaldi webbrowser, with the bitwarden chrome addon.
Assuming that you can log into the Bitwarden web vault, I’d suggest you make a backup export of your vault first, just to make sure, and also to have a backup. It’s in:
Tools→ Export vault → .json (Encrypted) → Password protected (don’t pick account restricted). Enter your password (which you may want to write down), and Confirm.
On the Addon, you probably are still at a lock screen to get that message, even if it should have logged you out already. At this point, click the “Logout” at the bottom, and try logging in again.
