I can access my Bitwarden account from the laptop and my wife’s iPhone, however when I try loging in on my iPhone, I get “An error has occurred.” message.
We are using the same password each time (have double checked that).
And what is a “tag”?
@mactoolsix Welcome to the forum!
… you are talking about the Bitwarden password manager?
PS: Those are “tags”:
Ideally, they help 1) that posts “land” in the right category/categories and 2) that everyone knows what the “context” / circumstances might be…
Yes, the Bitwarden password manager.
I changed the category then to “password manager”. And I guess, you’re talking about the Bitwarden mobile app (on iOS)? And not self-hosting?
Yes, I assume it would be called the mobile app.
Not sure what you mean by “self-hosting.”
@mactoolsix Sorry for the delay…
That’s an expression for “self-hosting” your own Bitwarden server… “default-cloud” is when you just use the “usual” Bitwarden cloud.
Regarding your login problems with your iPhone… I would suggest to you, having a look into this post: "I can't login" - Some tips for login problems/issues
BTW, I’m not exactly sure how you meant that:
Do you two share one Bitwarden account? Then just FYI that you maybe better set up a separate account for each of you, as “sharing one account” is against Bitwarden’s “Terms of Service - Account Terms”. And probably - as passwords shouldn’t be reused - you two should have an individual and unique master password…
I solved the problem by deleting the app, and then reloaded it.
