Cannot login to vault by safari (mentioning Username or password is incorrect) but works fine by firefox

I am using two MacBooks with Sonoma 14.7.2 and Safari 18.2. One of these (both technically the same MacBooks) do NOT allow to login to vault.bitwarden.com sites using safari browser, but do allow by using firefox browser. On the second MacBook both browsers work fine. I have compared the settings of both computers and can state there is no identifiable difference. The account for Bitwarden is on the .com server. The plugins are working fine (on the browser) and the desktop app works as well.

Tried to login to vault.bitwarden.com by my iPhone using various browsers, this does not work as well. This is very strange as they are physical different devices and it seems that randomly some combinations work. Does Bitwarden recognize the IP addresses of devices (which might cause the issues) and can these be reset?

“Please try with a hard refresh for your session by pressing Command+Option+E to empty the cache, then hold down Shift and click Reload in the toolbar.”

This has actually fixed the problem and the web vault is now working in Safari on MacOS.

I tried this but it did not fix the issue. What seems to fix it is what Palermo has reported:

Try for yourself if you can fix other browsers by just simply opening the community website.
