Cannot login on iPhone when email-based 2FA enabled

Hi! I noticed that if I get signed out on my iPhone and I then try to login, I am required to provide a code sent to my email for 2FA.

I think leave the Bitwarden app to open the Mail app and copy the code, but once I return, the 2FA pop up is gone and I am prompted to start all over again.

This means that the only way to login the Bitwarden is if I have another device available to separately read the code without existing the Bitwarden window.

This will become a huge problem for me if I get logged out at any inconvenient time and don’t have access to another device. Please let me know if the problem hasn’t been described clearly enough. Thanks!

The “2FA”-prompt you see… could you clarify if you see:

Option A)

→ the most important part of this would be the sentence “We don’t recognize this device.”!

Option B)

without the text “We don’t recognize your device.”


When you try to log in, do you see option A) or option B)?
