Cannot find password change field

When I go to Account Settings > Account Settings > Data Files Tab > Settings, there is no field to change the password. It is missing.

@Entakeeke61 Welcome to the forum!

Where do you do that?

@Entakeeke61 Welcome to the forum! I moved your question into its own thread, because it was not related to the topic where you had originally posted.

If you’re trying to change your account password for your Bitwarden account (i.e., your “master password”), you must first log in to the Web Vault app, which you can access at vault.bitwarden.com (or at vault.bitwarden.eu, if that’s the server you used to register your account).

Next, use the left-hand navigation menu to access Settings > Security, and ensure that the “Master Password” tab is selected. You will find the form to change your master password at the top of that tab. Please heed the printed warnings.

In addition, it is strongly recommended to export your vault contents prior to changing your master password, in case something goes wrong. To export the vault, go to Tools > Export in the left-hand navigation menu. Specify “.json (Encrypted)” as the File Format, and “Password Protected” as the Export Type. Enter (or generate) a file password, but make sure that you save a copy of this password (somewhere outside your Bitwarden vault). Then click Confirm Format, and follow the prompts.

Furthermore, if you have Premium, go to Vaults in the left-hand navigation menu, then enter the search expression >attachments:* in the search bar, which will find any vault items that have attached files. File attachments are not included in vault exports, and must be downloaded separately in order to have a full backup of your vault contents.
