As title states. I have a Motorola Moto G 2025 with premium Bitwarden. I am unable to create a passkey for google account login. The google account seems to automatically use its own passkey although my google password manager is empty. So when trying to create paskey from Bitwarden google says “Something went wrong”. The account shows a passkey from the phone but its not Bitwardens.
Is this not supported yet and normal at this time or where can I start troubleshooting. Ive looked at braves flags but cant find anything.
Hey there, what version of Android are you running?
Did you set Bitwarden as your default at the device level and browser level?
Please disable and reenable the toggles for ‘Autofill services’ (choose Bitwarden) and ‘Chrome autofill integration’ (choose other services), and restart your mobile browser.
Android version 15. Motorola Moto G 2025. Yes, set autofill with bitwarden. Also, have toggled it off to on. Happens on both Chrome and Brave. Also restarted. The only passkey from phone is the one that is automaticlty android passkey.
Initially Bitwarden seems to create a key but at the end this pops up.
I will look into that and get familiar with it. I was excited and paid for premium to support the app and im hopeful it leads to a resolution. I bought this new phone for the newer android version just so I could use passkeys for my Google account, etc…
Im also curios if this would occur on Edge mobile browser.
Ive got the recording zip file. Clicking on support team help center link, there is nowhere to attach zip file to the contact form. Do you have a direct email or way for me to send this file the right person or people?
Try support@bitwarden.com, or submit the contact form without the file, wait for the email confirmation, and then reply to the confirmation email with the ZIP file attached.
