App Version: Bitwarden for MacOS, Version 2024.2.0 (20587)
Hello!
I have been a bitwarden user for around 3+ years now and over the past year, I have started using the Clone option to create similar entries for similar looking websites (eg: job application websites). In my specific usecase, I assign a particular email id, in a common folder, and then change the password (& website/baseurl)
I was thinking whether it’d be possible to have the password be regenerated upon cloning since from my perspective, I need different passwords for each new item instead of copying whatever generated password I previously used (for the parent of the clone)
I understand my usecase needn’t really be shared among other users, but I was wondering if there is any setting that I might have missed within the app.
I tried searching around the forums for similar issues but I could only find the original clone request thread (now locked) and a thread about password history during cloning
