BW keeps a wrong password when unlocking

First of all, I apologize for my bad english

My BW vault is configurated to lock on browser restart.

When I want to unlock at starting, the screen presents me a self-registered password which is wrong:

I would like to erase it, is it possible ?

And more than that, I think no password, right or wrong should be saved in this screen, for evident security reasons.

Bitwarden extension doesn’t do that, but your browser does. Since you are using Bitwarden extension, you may want to turn off the password manager functions in your browser altogether. Try searching for “password” in the browser’s settings and turn off options like these:

  1. Ask to save logins and passwords
  2. Autofill logins and passwords

Deleting the passwords in your browser that you already have in Bitwarden, might also be a good idea, as it will be an additional point for your passwords to leak.

I should have thought to that, it’s cristal clear.

I’m on my way to do it right now at least on my mobile devices.
