I happed the 3rd time within 2 days that the Bitwarden Android App crashed when I was editing an entry and was scanning the QR-Code to add 2FA.
I have an Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with Android 9
The Bitwarden App Version is 2.6.1 (3178)
What additional data do you need?

I’ve the same on S9 with Android 10. Many times I’ve to start Bitwarden two or three times before it succeeds.

This is still occurring… Must have happened 20 times to me whilst configuring 2FA on multiple accounts since moving from Lastpass.
The Bitwarden app just closes as it scans the QR code. Often reopening and trying again works fine, sometimes (including the community here’s QR Code) it takes 4 or 5 tries to scan without crashing.
On other sites it works fine first time.

Hey guys: this issue is annoying but a quick fix, so I’ll stop crashing, as says here https://github.com/bitwarden/mobile/issues/975#issuecomment-791860509 is to give both camera and storage permission to bitwarden app.
Although I still consider this a bug, because it should prompt the storage permission modal, instead of crashing the app.
God bless.
