Hi Konstatin, some details for further clarification:
Terms used:
Android app: The native Bitwarden Android App
Browser plugin: The Chrome bitwarden plugin (chrome-extension://)
Browser url: Bitwarden access using the web interface (https://vault.bitwarden.com/#/)
Account testing:
“test” entry is seen on all 3 platforms
Deleted a “test” entry on Android App
“test” entry is removed on all 3 platforms
So I am working on all three platform on the same account and platform
Entry Testing
I am using a entry for which I am sure, that there a problems
Platform Password shown in platform
Android App “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
Browser plugin “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
Browser url “BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB”
Now I am changing the password on Android App from “AAAAAAAAAAAAAA” to “CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC”
Platform Password shown in platform
Android App “CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC”
Browser plugin “CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC”
Browser url “BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB”
Oddly: it shows on the Browser url, that I recently changed the password and a new version has been added the history, but the old password is shown
Now I am changing the password on Browser url from “BBBBBBBBBBBB” to “DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD”
Platform Password shown in platform
Android App “DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD”
Browser plugin “DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD”
Browser url “BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB”
So it changes the password on Android and the plugin, but it does not change it on the platform, where I made the change (url)
But: it shows on the Browser url, that I recently changed the password and a new version has been added the history, but the old password is shown
The browser url behaviour is replicable on different browsers (chrome/firefox) and on diffrent computers and platform (3 computers, windows and linux)
