Why does Bitwarden remain locked when unlocked from a keyboard? Is it just a security feature since the keyboard has focus?
I can fill one username/password (sometimes only one field per unlock)—but then the vault immediately locks afterward.
In other words, if Bitwarden struggles to fill both fields, at the same time, I end up entering my master password TWICE for one login attempt.
Time out period seems to work fine if vault is unlocked through Bitwarden app.
I’m using Heliboard on GrapheneOS (Android 15).
Bitwarden > Settings > Autofill > Use inline autofill

Which version of the mobile app do you use currently?
Also check in the Android Settings → Apps → Bitwarden that you activated in “Battery usage” that it is “unrestricted”.
Your session timeout is not set to “immediately”, I guess?
I’m using Bitwarden version 2024.11.7 (19528)
Bitwarden’s battery usage is set to “Allow background usage > Optimized”.
Setting the battery usage to “Unrestricted” makes no difference.
Session timeout is 15 minutes.
I’ve tested this behavior in both Firefox and Vivaldi.

I am having the same problem with the system integrated autofill. Curiously, the vault will be locked even while it’s unlocked in the app.
