Bitwarden unable to send confirmation E-mail

Greetings,

I have freshly installed Bitwarden in premisses and my E-mail Confirmation does not work, here is my
Global.override.env

globalSettings__mail__smtp__host=smtp.company.com
globalSettings__mail__smtp__port=25

globalSettings__mail__smtp__username=REPLACE
globalSettings__mail__smtp__password=REPLACE

what should i replace?

Hi @bilal - did you remember to execute bitwarden.sh rebuild after configuring your environment variables?

If so, we need more info to help, such as Bitwarden server version #, the type of hardware you are using, the installation process you followed, and the specific errors you are seeing. Cheers.

Hi @dh024 thank you very much for your response, no i have’nt execute the bitwarden.sh I’m gonna do it in few minutes : ) but quick qurestion if i execute the .sh file doesn’t it reinstall everything or its only gonna over write my config file?

You can read more about configuring you env variables here, but to answer your question, the rebuild is needed to apply your changes and it won’t reinstall the software - it just updates the configuration.

I have just execute the .sh and the site is no more reachable, i did the rebuild, any idea ?
bitwarden.sh version 2022.5.2
Docker version 20.10.17, build 100c701
Docker Compose version v2.6.0

these are my Bitwarden version: and i followed the Install and Deploy - Linux | Bitwarden Help & Support
installation.

Without more info, like the results of Bitwarden.sh rebuild, specific errors, or log file contents, it is really hard to say. Sorry.
