Bitwarden Suddenly Not Working :-(

hi all.

joined the Bitwarden group early this year and had no probs. i use it just for a forum and Paypal. Tonight, i’ve gone to make a Paypal payment, and when i entered my code it errored, saying it didn’t match. i let it refresh, tried again, still nothing. after nearly locking myself out of PP i managed to get in via their recovery email etc, and i turned off 2FA.
i deleted the Paypal entry in my vault and tried to set up again - i copied the code from the QR thing, set up a new login on the vault, and again it just tells me the numbers don’t match, i tried twice, making sure the number had refreshed and was still valid.

any help please?

I would suggest that you go to https://www.time.gov/ and look at the information in the black rectangle in the lower right corner (“Your Device’s Clock”) — is your system clock off by a large amount?

 

If so, correct the system time.

um, yeah, says 90s :-/

much obliged @grb, no idea why i suddenly gained 90s but that was the issue. thanks for the help :slight_smile:
