Hi, I have proxmox installed on a server however on login popup it shows auto generated password instead of login password. how to fix this?
Hello, can you please confirm that you do have a password for this account stored in BW?
I also have a proxmox host, but my credentials are correctly autofilled by the the BW extension in my firefox browser.
Also please provide some details about your environment (OS, browser and version, bitwarden version etc).
yes, a password is already saved. this is happening with my all proxmox hostnames. I am using Vivaldi.

I made a couple of tests, but was not offered a new password.
How do you go about logging in, in a step by step fashion? Since the “Save user name:” option is enabled I presume that “root” is filled in when the page is loaded, is that correct?
What happens if you press Ctrl (the Mac equivalent anyway) + Shift + L ?
strange this also happening with sites that needed password with profile updation like upwork.
restarted the browser and it seems to be fixed. strange this was happening from a week and the browser was updated 2days ago. seems strange but it is working correctly now.
Glad to hear that mate!
