We had a lot of problems by changing the licence and account in Bitwarden Self-Hosted version.
For those who whant to update the licence from another account we have followed this procedure, I don’t know if it’s the right one or not. We didn’t found anything on the support website.
1 - Create a new bitwarden account and purchase a new licence (Use the same location “EU/US”)
2 - Generate a new installation ID and installation Key with the same email Requesting Hosting Installation ID & Key | Bitwarden
3 - Change the installation/Key ID on the global settings ./bwdata/env/global.override.env
4 - Restart the bitwarden instance ./bitwarden.sh restart
5 - Push the new licence in the web admin interface
6 - We had to update the docker ./bitwarden.sh updateself ./bitwarden.sh update ./bitwarden.sh restart
All the data have been untouched, we get back all of the settings and data.
