Bitwarden appears twice in the context menu on Safari in macOS Tahoe 26.2.1 and 26.3.

It looks like an entry was made to Github, by another poster and they were directed here. I did a search here and didn’t see this, so I’m posting it.

I’m seeing this too. It’s been the case for at least a year, in fact, across multiple machines (including brand new ones).

I even get a Bitwarden context menu on pages that have no login info at all, so when there are login fields I get two of them.

What I’m in a login field, I see this:

Hi there, if you visit Settings > Extension, is it showing 2 versions of Bitwarden installed?

At work now but I’ll look when I get home. Are you referring to the Extension is Safari or the desktop app?

It only appears once in Safari - Settings - Extensions.

It also only appears once in the Applications folder.

Thanks, can you confirm if the issue persists after reinstalling the desktop app?

Uninstalled Bitwarden (Applications - Move to Trash), rebooted.

Reinstalled Bitwarden.

Issue remains. To instances of Bitwarden in drop down menu.
