Bitwarden extension icon invisible after upgrading to latest version of Safari 16.3 on macOS Big Sur

Just upgraded to latest version of Safari (16.3) on macOS Big Sur (11.7.3) and the Bitwarden browser extension icon has become invisible.
The browser extension works by clicking in the space where the icon should be visible.
Having same problem with another extension (Momentum).

Hey there, if you are seeing this for multiple extensions, it sounds like this may be a macOS bug.

Yes, I did update to macOS 11.7.3 at the same time as updating Safari.

I know I’m late to the game here, but I upgraded and the system upgraded to Big Sur 11.7 and Safari 16.6…therefore, bitwarden is no longer active or available. … I’ve read posts for monterey and upgrading safari, but apple keeps telling me I’m up to date… so what gives? I can no longer use Safari if nothing is stable or conflicts with Safari, nor working and I ESPECIALLY need Bitwarden.

MacOS Big Sur 11.7 got it’s last (security) update on September 11, 2023, so although it may be a “bitter pill”, it would be advisable to not use Bitwarden on such an outdated system at all.

I can only imagine, that your machine is EOL (end of life) and doesn’t get any further updates then… if you doubt that with a reason, I would search for the model number and see on support sites or something like that, if your machine can get further updates.
