Bitwarden don't recognize password

I observed the following behavior only in the Bitwarden Android app: occasionally, the app rejects my master password, even though it’s correct, and after several attempts, it requests my email, password, and 2FA authentication before finally logging me in. I consider this a vulnerability.

It sounds like you’re set up to unlock with the master password (i.e., you didn’t set up PIN or biometrics), is that right? If so, Bitwarden seems to log you out automatically after some failed attempts and then requires a full login.

Others with this issue in the past reported that uninstalling and reinstalling Bitwarden fixed it. I’d suggest you try this basic troubleshooting step first.

P.S. Since the master password is typically long and a pain to type correctly, people usually set the app to unlock with biometrics or a PIN, which makes it easier to use.
