It is great that we can centrally deploy the Bitwarden Desktop App via Intune Win32 App Deployment, but we are missing a crucial element which is the ability to change the desktop app settings configuration via Intune Device Configuration Profiles / ADMX Templates.
For Self-hosted scenarios there is the ability to define certain configurations with the data.json file, as mentioned here: Configure Clients for Your Server | Bitwarden.
Whilst looking at the data.json file I did notice there are the “global_desktopSettings” attributes which can be modified to alter the client UI, but this seems very impracticable to try and manage centrally, due to all the unique user definitions in the file.
So in conclusion, the ability to control the Desktop App Settings from Intune, after deploying it with Win32 App Deployment would be a great addition
