Autofilling bitwarden browser extension from Admin Console fails, only Password Manager succeeds

Hello,

I’ve started using autofill with the Bitwarden browser (Firefox) extension.

I previously created a security layer in the Bitwarden account → Vault → Admin Console → Organisation collections → top secret stuff → top secret stuff usernames and passwords.

Bitwarden autofill doesn’t autofill passphrases from this Vault → Admin Console, so is there a way to transfer all the usernames and passwords to Bitwarden account → Collections → Admin Console → Organisation collections → top secret stuff

to

Bitwarden → Vaults → Password Manager → All Vaults → regular usernames and passwords?

Or is there another way to make autofill populate the top secret stuff?

Here’s my previous setup of the top secret stuff folder, which may offer more security, for things I think are more sensitive like blockchain public and private keys (the ones that aren’t offline).

However now that I’m using passkeys, I need the autofill browser extension, so would like to have the blockchain accounts also populated.

My security logic is not fully clear, so any improvement is welcome.

It seems that you have a collection named “Top Secret Stuff”. From the Admin Console, you need to change the permissions for that collection so that your account has permission to view, edit, or manage that collection. After you have made this configuration change, all of the items in the “Top Secret Stuff” collection should be visible from the browser extension, and should be autofillable (provided that the URIs and URI match detection have been properly set up).

Thanks.

I played around with the ‘Organisation collections’ → Menu → Edit access → Permission → View items, hidden passwords → Save, but Permission stays in status No access.

Before clicking Save, you need to also open the “Select Members” menu and select your user account from the list:
