I can no longer auto fill on any website using the latest version of ChromeOS. It’s been working fine for over a year! What gives?!
@Derrick_McMillen Welcome to the forum!
The type of problem you are experiencing is usually dependent on the user’s specific setup. I have moved your comment into its own topic, to increase the chances that it will be seen by other users who are on ChromeOS.
In the meantime, could you please provide the version number of the browser extension that you have installed on your system, and provide any other specifics about your situation? For example, Bitwarden offers 7 different ways to autofill login credentials (keyboard shortcut, inline menu, right-click context menu, etc.) — have you tried all of them, and do none of them work?
Also, please confirm that your account is hosted on Bitwarden’s cloud servers (not a self-hosted server).
Autofill is working as always on my Chromebook. And it’s up-to-date:
ChromeOS version 129.0.6668.99 (stable channel)
Chrome Bitwarden extension version: 2024.10.0
I do not use the autofill menú on form fields (I have that option disabled, I don’t like it, especially since v2024.8.0 began prompting to autofill identity fields all over the place).
