Auto-Type for Windows

Hey just wanted to let you know this a function that is built into windows already.

  1. runbox: netplwiz
  2. Unselect “Users must enter user name and password…”

Hi there, I’ve installed Bitwarden Auto-Type using the setup executable, and I’m now trying to autotype my login info into an app. I need to insert username, password and a TOTP. I created a login item in my bitwarden vault, using the app:// preamble in the URI, and the AutoType app does recognise correctly the app. The only issue is that when I press the combination for the default sequence, it types the username, then the password, and then doesn’t type the TOTP but rather presses enter automatically. Is there a way for me to personalise the default sequence so that after the password it tabs to the next field, fills the TOTP and then presses enter? At the moment the workaround is to first insert the TOTP using the AutoType TOTP sequence only, and then use the AutoType default sequence for username and password. But it’d be ideal to just press one sequence of keys to get all of my info autotyped at once…
Thank you!

@bw-admin Any update on this making its way in to an official release?

@anonymous1184 Are you alive? Your app is beginning to break, it’s been too long since an update!
