Trying to sync a ToTP from iOS Authenticator app to iOS password Manager but it’s not working since the last update.
It’s a Paypal ToTP, but what ever I do it’s not syncing over.
The ToTp in authenticator have been imported from Google Authenticator and many already have copied over, but as I was a couple of days away i stopped syncing. Today I am trying again and it’s not working anymore. Nothing has changed in my procedure only that a new update of the Password manager and authenticator app was installed.
Yes, before you ask, under account security - allow authenticator syncing is turned on
Any ideas what I can try?
Edit: So to clarify. In authenticator in iOS i get the TOTP of paypal, I want to add that to the Password Manager, also on iOS, but whatever I do it doesn’t get transferred. I tried another code, and that also doesn’t get transfered to the corresponding entry (i select) in password manager

I pushed in the password manager (by pressing the + key). a new entry when asked , and then the key copies over, so, that works, but it’s not attaching to the entry that is showed when entering Password manager but attaching to a new entry you create.

I have used the PM since years by now (iOS app and browser extension) and recently started to use the Authenticator too on iOS.
I am copying the TOTP phrases to PM after created them, mostly thinking to subscribe soon for PM.
Since last apps update of few days ago: PM ver 2025.9.1 (2605) and Auth ver 2025.9.1 (216) the copy function doesn’t work anymore. Both adding a new item in PM or adding the TOTP calculator to an existing item only get to create a new one or opening the exiting one in edit mode.
I am the only encountering this problem? it worked perfectly since before the last update… and i am loving it…

As far as I see, there is no corresponding bug report on GitHub yet, but it sounds like a bug, that should be reported. (either on GitHub or to the BW support team - see the links @dwbit posted)
I am sorry to see thay the last update [2025.10.1 (2691)] didn’t respolve the issue…
As a resume:
trying to copy a Totp item from Authernticator to Password Manager
1 - copying the item to a new PM item works properly [ this bug was partially solved with 2025.10.0 (2645) and still working in last version]
2 - trying to copy the item to an existing PM item - using search while PM can’t find a matching item by itself - will only open the chosen PM item in view mode
am i the only one experiencing this problem?
copying totp to PM is a really handy opportunity toward subscribing to PM and use it as authenticator itself
