When i use my iphone to get a code it works, the site i am logging in to accepts it. If i use my ipad the code generated does not work.
What could be wrong?

Please check the time zone on your iPad (and if it’s not correct, change it).
And also manually sync the time (or toggle the automatic sync).
Does it work now?
The time is correct and set to automatic.
The authenticator did not work on my ipad but does on my iphone.

Did not work? So, now it works?
Toggling the time set did not work but google said i had to turn on the authenticator sync setting on both devices.
Now it works.
