I am for an apple watch app too switched over from 1Password…
Can we have some feedback if it is being considered?
Thank you
Registered just to say that would increase the power and ease of use so much. Would love this to be developed for Apple Watch.
Simply a must unfortunately. Please let us know if it is being considered
I’d really like some Apple Watch support too. It would be awesome if this could be added to the development roadmap.
When Bitwarden supports Apple Watch, I will change everything from 1password to Bitwarden quickly. Please!!!
It’s very necessary!!
+1
Support for Apple Watch would be a very valuable functionality. I know a lot of people using 1password only because of their Apple Watch integration.
We need Apple Watch support!
+1
+1 here as well - even if not for passwords, just TOTP support would be a game changer! Right now half of the TOTPs are in Authy, the other half in Bitwarden. If I could move them all over and have them on my wrist it would be perfect.
Yeah +1 here. Most essential missing feature for me.
Not sure if they even read the requests. Seem roadmap is 100% for paying customers which i guess makes sense. But they could get a lot of customers if they added it. They could even add this to any of their paid plans
Hi thorrr, welcome to this community. I think your first comment is a bit awkward - I actually doubt you looked into the forums and see people like tgreer responding everywhere.
Furthermore, please have a look at the release notes. They show you all major fixes in the past. Can you honestly stick to your statement that they only implement for the paid platforms?
This request which has been ongoing for years and has 1 of the highest requests.FACT.
My comment is about RoadMap not historical fixes, which I see no connection.
I also understand the business reason by BW but I have been a paying customer for several years.
But it does not stop me from having a critical opinion.
If you feel it is awkward then please ignore and move on.
Not all comments have to shower BW with glitter and praise.
Thanks, @thorrrr - we appreciate the feedback. I think what @JurgenG was trying to communicate is that if you look at the release notes, you’ll see that we’ve spent a good bit of time adding the most requested features from the forum
Also, note that the roadmap isn’t a step-by-step development plan. It’s simply a representation of our overarching themes and their largest features.
HI Trey
I left LP and have never looked back and love BW.
But the Apple Watch has been out years and the request for it has also been requested for years.
I think if you made the watch app part of a paid a paid plan you would get a big uptake.
IMHO your leaving cash on the table letting 1Password rule the roost.
Also, you are getting BW users moving over or using both!
You are implementing items with far less requests, you have even said in previous blogs / posts you may not follow what your customers ask for if it does not fit in with your roadmap or ethos!
That remarks clearly indicates you’re not as customer focussed as you guys used to be.
If you have no intention of doing it (which i would respect), please let customers know so we can decide of staying or moving.
If your telling me referral & Subscription gifting is more requested i would be shocked.
+1 from me for Apple Watch support. Is there at least a certain reason why you haven’t take it into consideration yet?
I’m still negotiating with my myself to switch to 1Password just for this feature…I would happy to pay for the Premium tier (of Bitwarden). Currently there are no features there that I need
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Myki now going to the bitbucket. Used TOTPs on the Apple Watch app exclusively. Bitwarden looks great, but a big step back without a Watch app.
+1 for Apple Watch Support. I would like to be able to unlock the mac app from my watch and 2FA support
This makes me sad. Came here to find out how to use bitwarden with my Apple Watch. Instead I found out that devs just ignores one of the most popular suggestions.
I’ll cancel my subscription today and move to 1password since it’s obvious that the dev don’t care about getting Bitwarden to the watch.
Bye bye.
We really appreciate the feedback and passion for Apple Watch Support. Our 2022 Roadmap outlines a high level overview of key deliverables for the year and is subject to change.
Our feature releases are a balance between serving our individual users/families, teams and enterprise, and our MSPs. We hear you, and your feedback has been passed along to the team.
So what I can gather from the roadmap (unless I missed something) is that the watch app (or unlocking the client via the watch) is neither planned for this year nor as a “future initiative”, is that correct?
