Hi, I’m using iOS 18.6.2 and the Bitwarden app keeps crashing every time I try to enter my master password. I can’t access my vault because of this issue. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem, or is there any fix for this?
Thanks in advance!

Is this happening when opening the main app, or when autofilling?
It crashes in both cases — when opening the main app and when autofilling.
Have you updated your KDF settings at all?
Just being paranoid… Can you login to vault.bitwarden.com or vault.bitwarden.eu ? If you can successfully login this might be a really good time to create a backup/export, in zip format.
Yes, I did update them, but now I’m getting a memory error and I can’t change the KDF settings anymore. The screenshot shows the error I’m getting.
Okay. Unfortunately it’s not the issue I thought it might be.
We have a known issue on iOS where the app extension has limited memory, so if you configure your KDF to use argon2id with high memory settings, it can cause crashes. However, this should not affect the main app.
My recommendation would be to try uninstall and reinstall the app and see if this fixes the issue.
This solution worked, but I still can’t back up my vault, and I still don’t see any passwords in my vault on the web browser.
Same issue here, with a fresh install on ios26.1.
App crashes once the user finishes typing in the verification code and attempts to click on the continue button.

@lasergyro Did you change your KDF settings to Argon2? If yes: did you tweak the default values?
I might have, a long time ago. My current settings:
Algorithm: Argon2id
KDF memory (MB): 64
KDF iterations: 3
KDF parallelism: 4
I have two other devices (an iphone and an ipad mini) both up to date with ios26.1, where the issue hasn’t happened. Also roughly on the 10th attempt I managed to log in in the problematic device (an ipad pro m4 with 8GB of RAM).
